This book compiles 26 of my best photos of home from July - August of 2018. All were taken in a dry wash near the Phoenix Mountains as a way of honoring the desert, the distant mountains, the heat, and the rain. They have been selected and arranged to flow together in a kind of story, beginning with the approach of the great storms, and ending with the brief flare of life they bring to the surface.

The book is printed on sturdy 8x6in pages with silver-halide archival photos in a lay-flat binding. There are 26 photos, 6 landscapes and 20 portraits, with textured endpapers. The cover is hardbound in black linen and printed simply with the title and my new palo verde flower logo.
